  • Alec oversees the full deal lifecycle at Base 3, specializing in value creation through the repositioning of mismanaged assets. He has led the acquisition and successful turnaround of 700+ multifamily units.

    He is also the co-founder of Staffolio, a staffing firm that helps U.S. companies scale with offshore virtual assistants. Alec is a licensed Illinois real estate broker with degrees in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

    Beyond his professional endeavors, Alec is an active member of Chicago’s Sit Stay Read book club for children and contributes to organizations including the Jewish United Fund (JUF) and Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF).

Andy Ahitow

  • Prior to founding City Pads LLC, Andy Ahitow was the founder of Chicago Apartment Finders (“CAF”), a company he grew to 5 locations with 150+ employees. During his helm at CAF, Andy formed a development partnership with Marc Realty Residential (“MRR”) where, as Director of Development, he oversaw the construction of approximately $338M of real estate value.

  • Kate Varde is a Principal at Essex Realty Group where she focuses on the sale of multi-family and mixed-use investment real estate throughout Chicago and the Suburbs. In addition, she has acquired more than $60 million of apartment properties including properties in the Edgewater and Uptown neighborhoods.

  • Tracy Scanlon is a principal of Edge and Up, Inc. which owns and manages residential properties in Chicago. A lifelong Chicagoan, she serves on the board of multiple real estate organizations and is active in the Edgewater and Uptown communities.

Jacob Price

  • As an Associate at Kiser Group, Jacob Price is focused on the sale of multifamily buildings on the north-side of the city, primarily throughout the neighborhoods of Edgewater, Uptown, and Andersonville. Jacob has had a wide range of professional experience outside of Brokerage, and most recently worked as a Sales Strategy Consultant for Allstate Insurance and their direct book of business. From a young age, between jobs and internships, he would tour properties with his family, building relationships and ignited his passion for Chicago real estate

  • Ron is the managing broker of Silver Property Group, and has more than 20 years of experience in real estate. Additionally Ron has over 25 years of legal experience and has been an Illinois licensed attorney since 1993. He has served as a board member for the Chicago Association of Realtors and the 48,000 member strong Illinois Realtors.

  • Garrett Leigh is a multifamily real estate investment professional based in Chicago. As an Associate at Essex Three-Twelve, he focuses on advising clients on the acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties, leveraging deep market knowledge and institutional-grade underwriting.

    Garrett’s prior experience in real estate acquisitions gives him a strong foundation in deal analysis, due diligence, and transaction execution. He holds a degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin and is known for his detail-oriented, results-driven approach.
